- The duration of The Pit Season is 5 weeks ( 2 games per week)
PAIRING AND MATCHMAKING
- The Pickaxe Master will host 3 weekly streams during different time zones to accomodate all the matches. — Stream schedule will be announced closer to the start of the Season.
- Matchmaking time will be the full duration of the 2 hour stream.
- Once the matches starts, a Team losses their right to reschedule. If both sides agree to change the time due to unexpected events, they can do it.
- You must face the Team(s) you are assigned with each week.
- If each Team cannot find a desired time during the week to fight, they may ask for a reschedule. The moderators will accept the reschedule if both Teams agree.
- If Team (A) is having trouble scheduling a match because Team (B) is busy, Team (A) can ask for a No-Show win. Proof ScreenShots must be provided for evaluation.
FORFEITS AND NO SHOW RULES
- If a Team does not show up, it will lose 1 point on the ScoreBoard and the match will have to be rescheduled, and if the Team does not appear on the reschedulled match, this time the opposing team will be able to request a “No Show” win.
- When a Team leaves the The Pit tournament, we will remove the points won by the opposing Teams if it has played less than 50% of the matches. If it has played more than 50% of the matches we will give a “No Show” win to the Teams that didn’t have time to play against it .
- The “No Show” consists of a team’s win percentage divided by total number of matches played. Only matches played go into the calculations for win percentage.
- If a Team forfeits and desires to return after their penalty ( Ban for 1 Season of The Pit), they will return in the lowest tier available.
NO SHOW EXAMPLES
- If in the end of the season your Team has a <20% set win ratio average — you will win 1 point.
- If in the end of the season your Team has a 20–40% set win ratio average — you will win 2 points.
- If in the end of the season your Team has a 40–60% set win ratio average — you will win 3 points.
- If in the end of the season your Team has a 60–80% set win ratio average — you will win 4 points.
- If in the end of the season your Team has a >80% set win ratio average — you will win 5 points.
- Team (A) ends the season with 20 games won out of 39 played, they will end with a 51% set win ratio, so all the “No Show win” games will give Team(A) 3 points.
- If a Team gets a “No Show loss”, 0 points will be awarded.
DISCONNECT AND BUGS
- If a player disconnects before the “START” of the match, the Team has to immediatelly notifify the oponent in order to CANCEL that match. If the side that disconnect doesn’t inform immediatelly, the match will be valid.
- All disconnects after the “START” on the beggining of the game, the match will be valid regardless. Screenshot that can be requested by the opposing Team.
- If a bug happens and the Team is able to prove (replay or recording of the match) and it influences on the result of the match or compromise a player abitility to play (Getting stuck, Unable to move, Getting spawned out side of the Pit, etc) the match MUST BE REPLAYED — Please contact a moderator/referee to show the evidence of the bug.
- Lag does not count as a Bug!
